Vedic and Cultural Centre of Australia
Vedic and Cultural Centre of Australia (VCCA) was launched in South Australia at the 6th Australian National Hindu Conference at Adelaide in September 2017. VCCA’s objective is to
- Provide a facility for conducting Vedic and cultural education activities for children and adults
- Conduct classes on Vedic teaching and Hindu Dharma
- Perform Vedic rituals with understanding their importance in our lives
VCCA is an initiative of Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia to engage Hindu Australians in activities related to Vedic learnings on Upanishads, Geeta and Puranas and the Sanskrit Language.
This centre will give the opportunity for all Australian Children and adults to know and learn Vedic Culture and the pass this from generation to generation.
Families have come together to establish this Vedic Centre and we need more families to come forward to support this centre by participating and sponsoring this project and help us to pass this knowledge to generations to come.
This is your opportunity to partake in the tradition of Vedic chanting, which has been proclaimed by UNESCO in the year 2003 (https://ich.unesco.org/en/RL/tradition-of-vedic-chanting-00062), on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
