Hindu Elders Foundation

Hindu Elders Foundation (HEF) empowers the community leaders by promoting well-being, social support and self-respect.

The activities for the elders include - light physical indoors exercise, walks, prayer recitals and musical sessions, yoga sessions, health and well-being talk and workshops and celebrating important festivals.

HEF provides the following services:
- Welcome and Farewell events for parents living with their children and visiting South Australia
- Excursions and Yoga classes for parents
- Crochet and knitting classes
- Opportunity to impart knowledge and skills to our children

VHP operates an activity centre for our senior citizens at 194 Goodwood Road, Millswood free of cost and plans to expand it as a community centre in near future.
